The Rathergate forged documents

If you think my last post was long, check out CBS Ignores Typewriter Expert at Wizbang. There is some incredibly detailed analysis.

If you've been following this story, you know that CBS has still refused to say that the documents were definitely forged, even though the evidence seems rock solid that they were indeed forgeries.

Your title is misleading. CBS used forged documents. However, there is no evidence whatsoever that they actually forged the documents.

CBS used forged documents they knew were forgeries, ignoring all the information they had that clearly indicated something was wrong with them, to post a libelous and untrue story "first" that supported an attempted hidden political agenda. Denying the documents were false followed, along with counter-accusations the material was somehow substantially true, even though the documents were fake and no one involved (except the document maker) had ever said or written anything like the material. Meanwhile, 4 people got fired after a really bad coverup report that failed to nail 2 additional people who assisted perpetrating this report on the audience. Yeah, I see how this was so unfair. Well, like Danny always says at the end of his news reports, "Cowardice."
